Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the InningWise website at inningwise.com and the InningWise iOS app (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account.

The short version

• InningWise helps youth-baseball coaches, team managers and parents manage teams, rosters, lineups, live scoring, practice plans and player training games.
• Organization owners subscribe for their organization. Individual accounts for coaches, managers and parents are free.
• Your organization owns its team data. You can delete your personal account at any time, subject to the steps in our Privacy Policy.
• Be respectful, use the Service lawfully, and don’t try to break things.

Accounts

You need an account to use most features. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or through Sign in with Apple or Google where offered. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. One person, one account — accounts are not shared.

You can delete your account from Account → Delete account in the app or on the website. If you own an organization that has other members, transfer ownership first. If you are the billing owner of an active subscription, cancel it first. Once those steps are complete, deletion takes effect immediately. Organizations, teams and roles

When you create an organization you become its owner. You choose which teams to add, invite coaches and managers, and control who has access. Coaches and parents join an organization through invitation links or join requests that the organization approves.

Team data — rosters, lineups, games, scoring history, practice plans and drills — belongs to the organization, not to any individual account. When a person leaves or deletes their account, organization data stays for the remaining members.

Children and parental responsibility

InningWise is for adults: coaches, team managers and parents. Players do not need an account. When you enter information about a minor (name, jersey number, game statistics), you represent that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have parental permission to enter it. Coaches and managers enter player information as part of managing their team; parents may review or request deletion of their child’s information through the team’s coach or by contacting us.

Subscriptions and billing

Organizations subscribe to use the full Service. The billing owner selects a plan (annual or monthly, priced per team seat) and pays through Stripe. Pricing is confirmed during checkout.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. A cancelled subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds are handled case by case. Contact us if you believe a charge was made in error.
• We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days’ notice. Your current period is not affected.

Free features

Some features are available without a subscription or account, including a limited daily sample of the player training games. We may change what is included in the free tier at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You will not:

• Use the Service for anything illegal or harmful.
• Attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorized to use.
• Interfere with, disrupt or overload the Service.
• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download data from the Service.
• Misrepresent your identity or role within an organization.
• Upload or transmit malicious code.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we will try to give notice before doing so unless the situation is urgent.

Content you provide

Organization data — team names, rosters, game data, practice plans, and similar information — belongs to the organization. By entering it you give InningWise the right to store, display and process it to provide, maintain and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The InningWise name, logo, the player training games, and the Service’s design and code are owned by InningWise and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you rights to them beyond using the Service as intended.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update features, fix issues or change the Service at any time. If we discontinue a core feature that affects your subscription, we will give reasonable notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InningWise and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to hold InningWise and its operators harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will revise the date above and, if the change is significant, notify account holders by email or in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. These terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and InningWise regarding the Service.
